Video recording and intruder alarm

Recording and alarm control for the cameras you already own.

One PC on site records any make of IP camera and runs the intruder alarm. One licence, no camera fees.

Works with

  • ONVIF Profile S, T and G
  • Hikvision
  • Dahua
  • Axis
  • Hanwha Wisenet
  • Uniview
  • Reolink
  • Ubiquiti UniFi
  • and 14 more makes

A recorder that keeps what the camera sent.

Streams go to disk exactly as each camera sends them. Nothing is re-encoded, so picture quality stays intact and the processor stays free for detection.

  • Video wallDrag cameras into a free-resize grid. The layout is kept between sessions.
  • Timeline playbackSeveral cameras on one timeline, with events marked where they happened.
  • Fisheye dewarping360-degree cameras shown as a panorama or four views.

Intruder alarm logic, drawn on the picture.

Draw the area each camera watches, group zones into areas, and arm them on a schedule or from a phone. The alarm fires on what you chose: a person, a vehicle, or any movement.

  • Areas, entry and exitInstant, entry, follower and 24-hour zones, the way an alarm panel works.
  • Weekly schedulesNew Zealand public holidays worked out every year, plus your own set dates.
  • Commissioning checksA plain list of what is not ready, before the site is armed.

Everything in the one licence.

The trial and the licence run the same software. Nothing is held back for a higher price.

Footage that holds up as evidence.

Every clip is encrypted and sealed on the machine that records it. An altered clip is refused, not played. Uninstalling never deletes footage.

Tells a person from a shadow

Object detection runs on the processor, inside zones that are already moving. No graphics card, no cloud.

Uses the camera's own detection

Line crossing, intrusion, tamper and alarm inputs from ONVIF cameras can trigger a zone directly.

Operate from a phone

Live view, arm and disarm, playback and events in any browser. Configuration and deletion stay on the console, where the web interface cannot reach them.

Every action on record

Each arm, disarm, sign-in and change is logged with the user or device that made it. Camera tamper is reported whether the site is armed or not.

Made for sites that already have cameras.

Most sites own good cameras and an alarm panel. JDX joins them up on one machine the owner controls.

Warehouses and yards
Zones on loading bays and fence lines, armed after hours, with vehicles told apart from people.
Retail
Recording across the shop floor and stockroom, with exports ready for police when something goes missing.
Farms and rural sites
Sheds and gateways watched from one PC, with livestock and wildlife kept out of the alarm.
Offices and clinics
Reception and entry points recorded, and every arm and disarm logged against a named user.
Construction sites
Cameras on a site PC, armed by schedule, public holidays included.

Integrations

Works with the alarm panel on the wall.

JDX reads a panel's areas, inputs and doors, follows its arming, and unlocks doors where the panel allows it. Monitoring stays with the panel's own communicator.

The footage is yours. So is the machine.

JDX Security never receives footage, camera passwords or site plans. There is no cloud account to keep paying for. How the software is secured.

  • Uninstalling never deletes footageRecordings stay on the drive until retention or the owner removes them.
  • Licences never stop recordingThe worst a licence problem can do is put a reminder on screen.
  • No audio is recordedVideo only, which keeps most sites clear of the strictest surveillance rules.
  • Security fixes stay freeFor every customer, with or without the yearly update plan.
